Welcome to the International Silver Tree Choral Festival
Christmas carols have enriched our merriest season of the year since the Middle Ages, being very much influenced by faith and also used in liturgy. Annual advent songs like ‘The One-Horse Open Sleigh’ are enjoyed by people of all ages during the Christmas season. Today, songs such as ‘Jingle Bells’ and ‘White Christmas’ are classics. José Feliziano‘s – Feliz Navidad has conquered the world. The Silver Tree Festival is an international Choral Festival, inviting choirs from all over the world to share their own Christmas carols with Europe. The festival is open to choirs any cultures and regardless of the choir’s professional level. We are focusing on togetherness, music and friendship. On Friday, participating choirs can choose between a friendship concert
with a local choir at a church or an open-air-concert at the Christmas market. On Saturday, all choirs will perform at the Silver Tree Christmas Choral concert, in a beautiful concert hall, theatre, or cathedral in the old town of the booked city.

Concert informations
Silver Tree Festival Concert – Duration per choir 20 minutes.
Except at Vienna City Hall 30 minutes. Due to the great demand the festival concerts will be divided into Friday and Saturday. The joint closing evening will take place on Saturday.
Individual concert for your choir
The individual concerts are held in the same way in all festival cities. If you have your own wishes (e.g. Sunday mass, concert piano, extra days, etc) please let us know when you register.

Salzburg - a city with a dreamlike scenery
With its tradition and ambience, Salzburg‘s Christkindlmarkt offers the ideal setting to start the Christmas season. The charm of the cathedral square, the traditional stalls, the fairy lights and diverse market stalls enchant every year anew. Salzburg‘s Christkindlmarkt is a feast for all the senses: culinary and cultural. Performances by traditional Salzburg and international choirs delighT thousands of visitors every year.

Ljubljana - city of December fantasy
In December, Ljubljana experiences a very special atmosphere. The whole city shines with festive lights and Christmas melodies waft through its streets. The scent of mulled wine and roasted almonds caresses the senses. On the banks of the Ljubljanica are the larger markets and squares, lined with stalls and stands. These become the venues for numerous interesting events and international choir concerts.

Vienna - the city of hearts
When the many shopping streets and Advent markets light up Vienna in the run-up to Christmas, one place in particular shines: Vienna‘s Christkindlmarkt is considered one of the most beautiful and largest Christmas markets in Europe. Every year, countless guests from Austria and abroad visit and marvel at the traditional Christmas market on Vienna‘s Rathausplatz.
Bad Reichenhall

Bad Reichenhall - Royal Bavarian Spa Town
A wonderful magic flows through the town: the shop windows are decorated, dozens of fir trees shine and sparkle and music sounds softly from somewhere. On the Florianiplatz in the old town, the lifesize nativity scene stands in loving tradition. Intense scents waft through the beautiful Christmas market and the pedestrian zone is bathed in a winterwhite glow of lights. In the spa gardens – in the beautiful concert rotunda – the International Silver Tree Christmas Choral Festival takes place.

Day 2, Friday:
Sightseeing & Individual Concert
Breakfast, half-day city tour. Optional concert:
(a) church, (b) Christmas market, (c) community hall.
Dinner. Overnight stay.
Day 3, Saturday:
Sightseeing & Christmas Concert
Breakfast.
Half-day sightseeing with choir assistant.
Afternoon: Preparation for the Christmas concert.

A 2nd person free of charge, regardless of the number of participants.
Terms of registration:
Minimum choir size: 25 persons
Registration fee: € 100,00 (due with PP Performing registration confirmation)
In case of cancellation by the organiser, the registration fee will be returned without deduction.
Please send with your registration :
Choir name, choir director, type of choir, number of singers, a-cappella or with instruments.
